DFW Wildlife Coalition Wants You to Be an Extra on ‘Friday Night Lights’ Finale
Ever wanted to be an extra on a TV show? The NBC Friday Night Lights TV series will be filming the final episode here in Dallas, at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Fair Park. If you’re not familiar with the show, it’s about a small Texas town where high school football RULES! The show has invited DFW Wildlife supporters to be extras during the filming of this season’s final episode. The extras will be in the high school football stands and NBC will make a donation of $20 for each supporter that attends.

There are two dates for the filming – Friday, July 16th and Saturday, July 17th. You can attend either date. NBC estimates the day’s filming will be 6-8 hours in length. They do not have a start time for filming yet for either two dates, but will provide this later. All supporters of DFW Wildlife Coalition are welcome to attend – so please feel free to invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers if they’d like to attend with you. Also, children over 10 years of age are welcome. NBC will be providing drinks, snacks and lunch during the day’s filming.
Please contact DFW Wildlife Coalition’s Jolie Blackburn for more information or to attend the event. RSVP by Friday, July 9th to be added to the extras list.
